Introduction to Bulk Solids Handling: A Comprehensive Course on Solids Flow in Hoppers and Pneumatic Conveying of Bulk Solids

June 11-14, 2019  •  Salina, Kansas

This comprehensive course covers various topics related to bulk solids, pairing classroom instruction with practical exercises.

Safely Handling Bulk Solids in Industry: Dust Hazards, Analysis, Mitigation, Prevention, and Control

July 23-26, 2019  •  Salina, Kansas

Students will apply knowledge in the actual design of a dust control system and auxiliary equipment, including cyclones, fabric filters, wet scrubbers, electrostatic precipitator, hoods, ducts, and fans.

Pneumatic Conveying of Powders and Bulk Solids

August 13-16, 2019  •  Salina, Kansas

This course focuses on the design of pneumatic conveying systems, common pneumatic conveying problems and discusses solutions to these problems. Participants will participate in the actual design of dilute phase pneumatic conveying system following step-by-step procedure.
